Located in a mixed-income, diverse and urban neighborhood of St. Louis City, this Parish was faced with some challenges in raising serious capital dollars. A standard feasibility study, produced by another firm, revealed that they would be able to raise $650,000 on the top-end. The cost of the national firm was prohibitive, and the Parish was looking for a change.
HRR did a deeper dive with the leadership. We gained a fresh understanding and appreciation for the culture and mission of the Parish. This was not a campaign to repair aging infrastructure - it was an opportunity to secure the future of a sacred, unifying, community space for St. Louis! We regrouped. We recruited chairs. We energized, oriented and trained a core group of campaign volunteers to serve as ambassadors.
HRR and St. Pius V modeled our program on best practice. We built campaign policies and procedures, and created a simplified administrative process for the campaign. We developed a comfortable campaign that was not only joy-filled for the committee members, but one in which the Pastor also enjoyed!
The campaign raised over $1 million. Allowing the church to reintroduce other established priorities that were cut out of the project. The St. Pius community is filled with pride from the accomplishment. Renovations are underway.
