Laura, who has eight years of experience in development, joined Holmes, Radford & Avalon as a fund raising Consultant in 2002. She began her career with Girls, Inc. and also has worked with the American Cancer Society and the YMCA of Greater St. Louis.

Specializing in written communications, Laura helps organizations strengthen their funding programs by preparing proposals that best convey their unique mission and their passion. She works with growing organizations to secure funding for their long-term stability.

Laura received her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master’s degree in media communications and public relations from Webster University. She lives with her husband Jeff and daughter Gwen in Webster Groves in suburban St. Louis.
