Holmes, Radford & Avalon was founded by Jim Radford in Stevens Point, Wisconsin in 1990. Since that time we have grown our business by believing and following our core values: That our client’s needs come first, and that our word is our bond. Personal integrity, honesty and a strong work ethic epitomize our founder and our consultants, and are the cornerstones for the professional approach to our work. As proof of the value of those virtues, more than 80 percent of our assignments come from referrals from current or former clients.

Our firm’s name reflects our beliefs as well. Founder Jim Radford named our company in honor of the world’s greatest consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes, and the mythical island retreat, Avalon, of the legendary King Arthur.

We work hard to listen to our clients just as Holmes did as he successfully solved their various mysteries. We try to approach our work as logically and intuitively as the great sleuth. Similarly, we attempt to emulate the quiet reflection and spiritual renewal that King Arthur and his Court found in Avalon.
